Job summary

Trident International Associates, on behalf of our client, seeks an Assistant Client Accountant to join a fast-growing national property management team. The role focuses on reconciliations, payments posting, and maintaining tenant financial records.

You will work in a hybrid setup (3 days in the office) with private health care and a supportive team, offering opportunities to develop within housing and real estate accounting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with property management systems (QUBE, YARDI, TRAMPS or similar).
• Strong Excel capability and comfort with financial data.
• Experience with cash allocation and bank reconciliation.
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, autonomous worker who contributes to the wider team.

Responsibilities

• Performing high volume bank reconciliations.
• Managing the day-to-day allocation and posting of incoming payments.
• Creating and maintaining tenant and tenancy-related financial records, ensuring information remains current and accurate.
• Calculating and applying relevant charges in accordance with contractual and tenancy requirements.
• Providing hands-on support across the month-end close.
