Job summary

Cobalt Recruitment is recruiting an Accounts Payable Manager in London on a fixed-term maternity-cover. The role leads a sizeable AP team in a multi-site environment, owning day-to-day operations and driving improvements across processes, controls and automation.

Four days in the office and one day working from anywhere, with a salary of £45,000–£55,000 plus bonus. Reporting to the Head of AP, AR and Billing, you will partner with senior stakeholders to optimise the function.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an accounts payable team in a high-volume environment.
• Strong people-management and coaching skills.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP in an AP context.
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Accounts Payable team (seven staff).
• Own high-volume AP across multiple companies and sites.
• Oversee invoice processing, supplier payments and reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements, controls and automation in AP.
