Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant for a 12-month contract based in Ashton-under-Lyne, Manchester. The role focuses on processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and supporting month-end activities within the technology and telecoms sector.

The ideal candidate will haveAccounts Payable experience and SAP proficiency, with hybrid work: 2 days in the Ashton office and 3 days remote. This is an excellent interim opportunity with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Prior accounts payable experience required.
• Experience with SAP is essential.
• Able to commit to a 12-month contract.
• Willing to commute to Ashton-Under-Lyne 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and timely.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end processes with reports and data.
• Maintain accurate supplier accounts and records.
• Respond to supplier queries and resolve payment issues.
• Assist in improving accounts payable processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflows.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
