Job summary

MUBI is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join the London-based Finance team in a hybrid role. You will manage supplier invoices, expenses, and weekly payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timely payments in line with policies.

The role emphasizes process improvement, cross-team collaboration, and helping grow the team’s AP capabilities as part of MUBI’s growth plan. Prior experience with international payments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in regular transactional processes in a medium- or large-sized company.
• Excellent eye for detail and accuracy in payments.
• Proactive ownership of responsibility and output.
• Proficient with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
• Interest in finance qualifications (AAT or ACCA/CIMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run accounts payable transactional processes including supplier invoices and staff expense claims.
• Manage weekly payment runs and ensure correct entry into the finance system.
• Match payments to supplier accounts and support bank reconciliation.
• Own inbound AP emails and queries from internal/external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement AP controls and automate repeatable tasks.
• Support monthly close with prepayments and accruals schedules.
