Aegon N.V. in Edinburgh is offering a 12-week Accounting Intern placement for Summer 2027. The role is hybrid (roughly 2 days in the office per week, 3 from home) to give hands-on experience in the UK Finance function.

Interns will perform bank reconciliations, assist with financial controls testing, and support reporting under regulatory frameworks such as Sarbanes‑Oxley and Solvency II, while gaining exposure to the wider finance team.

Formación

• Undergraduates in penultimate year of Accounting or Finance with 2:1 or equivalent.
• Interested in a career as an Accountant.
• Available full time between June and August 2027.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
• Able to analyse large data with strong attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with bank reconciliations and reporting activities.
• Support financial controls testing and regulatory compliance (SOX, Solvency II).
• Gain insight across the wider Finance function and related changes.
