Job summary

Aegon, based in Edinburgh, invites applications for a 12-week Actuarial Intern placement for Summer 2027. The role is suited to undergraduates in their penultimate or final year pursuing a 2:1 honours degree, with strong math/finance content, and a genuine interest in actuarial work.

Qualifications

• Undergrad in penultimate/final year and aiming for at least a 2:1 honours.
• Interested in a career as an Actuary.
• Available for full-time period June–August 2027.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word; strong numeracy and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Gain basic knowledge of actuarial work through hands-on involvement in Aegon UK’s Finance department or wider Investment Solutions team.
• Assist with data analysis and interpretation to support actuarial outputs and decision-making.
