Eutelsat is seeking a 5G NTN RAN design, simulation and integration engineer to work on end-to-end satellite-enabled 5G systems. You will contribute to the design and optimisation of the RAN architecture and collaborate with RAN vendors, onboard-processing and system teams to ensure the end-to-end solution meets requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in end-to-end functional architecture or systems engineering for complex telecoms or distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of 5G System architecture including NG-RAN, 5G Core, transport networks and service platforms.
• Experience with 3GPP 5G and NTN standards and architecture.
• Experience with radio resource management, scheduling algorithms, QoS, MAC-layer optimisation.

Responsabilités

• . Design and optimise the 5G NTN RAN architecture and functionalities.
• . Evaluate algorithms and system parameters to optimise network performance.
• . Analyze scheduling strategies, QoS mechanisms, mobility procedures and resource allocation.
• . Support performance analysis through modelling and simulation.
• . Work with RAN suppliers during co-engineering, implementation and integration.
• . Review supplier documentation and monitoring of technical activities.
• . Participate in design reviews and engineering discussions.
• . Support interoperability and system integration activities.
