Co‑op is offering a 12-month undergraduate placement in Manchester within our Supply Chain team. You will gain hands-on experience across product areas and learn how Co-op identifies, develops, launches, and supplies products, working with experienced colleagues across the business.

You’ll contribute to movements compliance, NI regulatory projects, and collaboration with government agencies, building your skills and network while exploring a career in operations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a second-year undergraduate student.
• Interest in Supply Chain/Customs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ambition to develop a career in operations.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-category teams with Technical and Commercial units and Freight Forwarding.
• Engage with Co‑op networks and working groups to improve colleague experiences.
• Assist HMRC-related investigations and respond to queries.
• Contribute to compliance activities around EU deforestation rules and NI export regulations.
• Help manage regulatory changes to ensure NI customers have choice in stores.
• Support keeping product movements compliant.
