Job summary

A leading waste management company located in Fair Oak is seeking to hire a team member to assist the public at a household recycling centre. The role involves ensuring health and safety, managing waste disposal, and operating an IT booking system. Successful candidates will have manual handling experience and should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather. The position offers 28 days of annual leave and ongoing training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist members of the public with waste and recycling disposal.
• Ensure health and safety at the site.
• Recycle materials as much as possible.
• Keep the facility clean and deal with any spillages.

What will you be doing?

Assisting members of the public at the household recycling centre with waste and recycling disposal

Ensure the health and safety of all members of the public, visitors, staff and contractors at the site.

Ensure that materials on site are recycled as much as possible.

Ensure that the facility is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area

Operate the IT Tablet based booking system

Trade waste control
