Biffa is looking for a HWRC Operative to assist the public at our Household waste centre with recycling and waste.

Your core responsibilities.

  • Working with the public to maximise recycling on sites.
  • Manual handling items on site assisting the public with various waste and recycling.
  • Helping to ensure the site is clean and tidy at all times.
  • Be proactive in promoting and maintaining a safe and friendly working environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in dealing with the general public.
  • Experience in the waste industry helpful but not essential.
  • Will be required to work weekends.
  • Must have a full UK driving license
  • Must have own transport
