Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • Strong PCB/PCBA design and DFx experience.
  • Experience with Altium/OrCAD and RF/IR testing methods.
  • Knowledge of worldwide compliance regulations.
  • Experience with global, matrixed organizations.
  • Excellent English communication; Hebrew a plus.
  • Hands-on problem solving in hardware systems.

Are you a Hardware Electronics Engineer who thrives on turning innovative ideas into real-world technology that improves animal care on a global scale?

Proclinical is seeking a Hardware Electronics Engineer to support the development and production of innovative animal care technology products. This role focuses on new product introduction, hardware design, working closely with cross-functional teams across multiple global locations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring product quality, reliability, and compliance while contributing to cutting-edge technological advancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead hardware changes for both new and legacy products, including end-of-life (EOL) updates and layout modifications.
  • Drive design for excellence (DFx) and NPI procedures for new products.
  • Conduct failure analysis and reliability testing on critical product design aspects.
  • Act as a component engineer for new and existing products.
  • Ensure designs meet quality and reliability standards, applying validation tests as needed.
  • Provide support to worldwide production facilities.
  • Prepare and present reports effectively to peers and management.
  • Oversee compliance with safety and radio regulations.
  • Lead electronic engineering efforts during NPI and for legacy products.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of electronic design and design for manufacturing (DFM).
  • Experience with multidisciplinary product design.
  • Knowledge of worldwide compliance regulations.
  • Expertise in electronics components, PCB/PCBA design, assembly processes, batteries, RF/IR testing methods, and automatic test equipment (ATE).
  • Proficiency in board design using tools like Altium or OrCAD.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Hebrew is a plus).
  • Experience working in matrixed, global organizations and cross-cultural teams.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and hands‑on problem solver.
  • Strong expertise in hardware systems, embedded interfaces, networks, instrumentation, debugging, and system‑level integration.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with SQA and LabVIEW tools.
  • Experience with RF communication and connected smart products.
  • Background in complex multidisciplinary projects requiring advanced technical knowledge.
  • Experience working with subcontractors, external vendors, and production teams.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes for testers or prototype parts.
