GE Vernova, Grid Solutions, is seeking a Valve Mechanical Engineering Intern based in the UK. You will work with a team of power electronics engineers within the HVDC unit to support grid and renewables projects, developing your skills in a world‑leading energy company.

Based at the HVDC Centre of Excellence in Stafford, you will follow a 12‑month development plan, collaborate with experts, and contribute to design reviews, testing, and documentation across the power electronics domain.

Qualificações

• Two years of degree-level study in electrical or electronic engineering or equivalent experience.
• Prefer predicted 2:1 or higher at bachelor level.

Responsabilidades

• Circuit simulation for design and testing.
• Specification of key power electronics components.
• Create design documents.
• Undertake technical reviews of new technology.
• Perform validation design-proving tests.
• Work with the power electronics supply chain.
