Are you an experienced HV Electrical professional looking for your next challenge?

Join one of the UK's leading facilities management providers at a high-profile critical site in the heart of the City of London.

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled HV Electrical Shift Leader to oversee critical electrical infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of safety, reliability, and performance. You will lead a small team of engineers on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights), carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, HV switching operations, and ensuring all critical assets operate without interruption.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise shift teams on all electrical maintenance and operations.

- Carry out HV switching activities in line with site-specific safety rules and procedures.

- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of electrical equipment including UPS systems, generators, and switchgear.

- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and compliant with health and safety regulations.

- Support client reporting and critical event management.

- Identify opportunities for service improvement and energy efficiency.

About You:

- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.

- Extensive experience working within critical environments (e.g., Data Centres, Financial Institutions, Hospitals).

- Excellent leadership and communication skills.

- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage critical incidents professionally.
