Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear, part of Babcock International Group, is seeking a Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Test Engineer to help oversee design, installation, testing and commissioning of critical HVAC systems on the Hinkley Point C project near Bridgwater, Somerset.

The role focuses on delivering safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, working with multidisciplinary teams on a major nuclear construction programme.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in a major project engineering or construction environment.
• Experience delivering large-scale construction or engineering projects safely and effectively.
• Ability to monitor compliance with engineering codes, specifications and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support safe and successful delivery of HVAC systems across a designated area of the Hinkley Point C project.
• Drive construction and commissioning activities, ensuring technical requirements are met.
• Produce weekly progress reports and monitor project milestones.
