Job summary

Jackson Hogg are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join the Engineering & Facilities team on a permanent basis. This day shift role runs from 07:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities.

You will work across a large North East industrial operation, commissioning and maintaining HVAC, water and building services systems, ensuring reliability and safety across critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Fully time-servedHVAC Technician.
• NVQ Level 3 in Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with complex HVAC, heating, ventilation and building services systems.
• Able to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Commission and maintain hot and cold water systems.
• Diagnose faults and repair heating, ventilation and water systems.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical and mechanical building services equipment.
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance across a varied asset base.
• Respond to critical breakdowns and complete repairs on time.
• Support safe and efficient operation of a large industrial estate and facilities.

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be partnering with our client for the appointment of a HVAC Technician on a permanent basis. This is a day shift position, Monday to Friday working from 07.30am until 3.30pm with over time available.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Technician to join the Engineering & Facilities team at one of the North East's largest industrial operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of facilities and critical infrastructure, supporting the maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of essential building services systems.

Job Description

• Commissioning and maintaining hot and cold water systems.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on heating, ventilation, and water systems.
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical building services equipment.
• Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across a varied asset base.
• Responding to critical breakdowns and completing repairs within required timescales.
• Supporting the safe and efficient operation of a large industrial estate and associated facilities.
