Job Description HVAC Technical Sales Consultant

The role of HVAC Technical Sales Consultant is a key part of our sales team. You will handle inquiries directly to Jordon Group, explore cross-selling opportunities within Bellrock, and develop a dedicated sales pipeline through business development.

How will you be the change?

We believe every role is vital in delivering peace of mind to our customers and driving our business forward. As an HVAC Technical Sales Consultant, you will:

  • Become an expert in retail sectors such as Petrol Forecourts, Convenience stores, Farm Shops, Coffee Shops, Fast Food outlets, and opportunities like office refits and high street retailers.
  • Perform initial site surveys using tools like Site Audit Pro.
  • Collaborate effectively with tradespeople such as electricians, plumbers, and builders, demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • Work well with internal teams at Jordon Group.
  • Understand the turnkey shop fit process, including shop fronts, joinery, electrical, lighting, plumbing, shelving, counters, refrigeration, heating & cooling, ventilation. Training will be provided.
  • Accurately prepare quotes.
  • Develop effective sales techniques to close deals, with support and training from us.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships with excellent customer service skills.
  • Manage projects to ensure successful delivery.
  • Conduct market research to understand client motivations and industry drivers.
  • Possess Health and Safety training, including SPA Passport and Asbestos Awareness.
  • Have existing knowledge or experience with AC/HVAC system design.
What does it take?

If you're ready to energize our business as an HVAC Technical Sales Consultant, you'll need:

  • Existing CAD training and certification or willingness to undertake training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with our systems like Epix and CRM.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Understanding of building regulations (Part L, Part F).
  • Experience with quoting, estimating, or HVAC system design.
  • A full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
  • A commercial mindset and good time management skills.
Working arrangements

This role is based at our office in Oldham, Manchester. It is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
