Mission

We are actively recruiting several HVAC System Engineers/Consultants to join our growing team in the UK. Our UK branch has a strong presence in the Nuclear sector.

We seek top-tier professionals for our South West office, where they will support Nuclear New Build projects at Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC).

EKIUM is a leading French engineering company specializing in industrial facilities, buildings, utilities, and automation within process industries and energy sectors. We manage major projects worldwide, from feasibility studies to maintenance.

What You'll Be Doing

HVAC System Engineering involves supporting all activities performed by engineers in the HVAC Systems team, including:

  • System design and integration into HPC's overall design
  • Modification and configuration management
  • I&C design of systems
  • Participating in commissioning strategy preparation
  • Engaging proactively with stakeholders to ensure the HVAC systems meet all requirements (layout, civil, hazard, nuclear safety, environment, configuration management, procurement)
Your Skills and Experience

We welcome candidates with the following qualifications and experience:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Significant process engineering experience
  • Proven ability to manage workloads and produce high-quality documents on time
  • Ability to build positive relationships within the project team
  • Commitment to improving engineering standards and documentation
  • Knowledge of EPR system design, Instrumentation and Control architecture, and Safety Classification
  • Experience in operational plants or industrial settings
  • Background in the nuclear industry

This is a full-time, consultancy role (40 hours/week) with hybrid working options.
