Job Description

What will you be doing?

As a HVAC System Design Engineer, you will join our Bristol team to support our activities within the Energy sector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Review and update system documentation to align with engineering requirements.
  • Analyze input data and incorporate lessons learned from other nuclear facilities.
  • Perform component sizing, thermal-hydraulic calculations, and system modeling.
  • Support procurement by preparing technical specifications and overseeing suppliers.
  • Conduct technical reviews to ensure high-quality documentation.
  • Proactively solve complex, multi-disciplinary engineering challenges.
  • Manage configuration changes and technical modifications to maintain design stability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate system integration and handover strategies.


Who are we looking for?

  • Individuals with relevant experience in HVAC and/or the Nuclear Industry.
  • Individuals with the ability to communicate clearly and accurately.
  • Experience in project configuration management.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

  • Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in system engineering and layout.
  • Knowledge of HVAC system and equipment sizing.
  • Proficient in Navisworks or equivalent layout CAD software.
