Job summary

ISS UK Limited is seeking a qualified HVAC Supervisor to lead HVAC operations on a major site in the United Kingdom. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will oversee a team of four engineers, ensuring high-quality technical services and compliance with client expectations.

You will drive service excellence, reduce subcontractor reliance, support project activities, and maintain a safe, compliant working environment on site.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship-qualified HVAC engineer.
• F Gas Category 1 certification.
• HVAC qualification such as City & Guilds Level 2 or Level 3.
• Proven hands-on experience within Technical Services and a building services environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of four HVAC engineers, ensuring efficient and reliable maintenance and unit plant operations.
• Monitor service delivery performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards.
• Reduce dependency on subcontractors by developing team capability and strengthening internal service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, building operational rules, company policies, and regulatory standards.
• Plan and optimise staff deployment and workload in collaboration with the Technical Services Manager.
• Ensure the timely completion of Work Tickets and Preventive Maintenance Work Orders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational and maintenance documentation, including drawings, manuals, SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors, support project activities, and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including industry-standard practices and theory.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to resolve operational and maintenance issues effectively while maintaining service standards and compliance.
