Job Description

We are seeking an HVAC Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in an industrial setting. Responsibilities include working with large mechanical systems such as cooling towers, chillers, RTUs, boilers, and automation systems.

Essential Job Duties
  1. Install, assemble, connect, and repair piping and refrigerant lines; install and maintain electrical controls; check voltage.
  2. Operate equipment and test for proper functioning; adjust and document operation of pumps, humidifiers, filters, and valves.
  3. Lubricate machinery and recharge refrigerant systems.
  4. Inspect equipment for defects like leaks and faulty compressors or condensers.
  5. Clean, inspect, and service air conditioners, condensers, evaporators, and cooling towers.
  6. Maintain and repair heating-cooling units, VAV boxes, fan-powered boxes, and air control valves.
  7. Evaluate and adjust control systems, including electric, electronic, and pneumatic controls.
  8. Perform preventive maintenance, including belt checks, motor greasing, and filter replacements.
  9. Assist with testing, adjusting, and balancing air and hydronic systems.
  10. Test critical building systems such as emergency generators, UPS, and building automation systems.
  11. Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory used in maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions or sponsorship.
  • 5-7 years of HVAC experience with large mechanical equipment in an industrial setting preferred.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, team player, able to work independently.
Additional Information

This is a full-time position, working 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday, with rotating emergency on-call schedule and occasional weekend overtime.
