HVAC Project Manager - Mechanical - Commercial & Industrial - Somerset, NJ

Unitemp has over 50 years of experience as the leading commercial and industrial mechanical project and service provider in the New Jersey and New York markets. We provide our clients with mechanical building solutions to meet the needs of their facility and their people. We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized mechanical Project Manager to join our growing team to help manage retrofit/renovation mechanical projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
2. Devise project work plans and make revisions as needed.
3. Monitor the progress of project activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all subcontractors.
4. Maintain adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.
5. Material procurement and takeoffs.
6. Processing of Submittals, RFI's, Change Orders.
7. Handling of Close Out documents.
8. Attend project coordination meetings.
9. Involved with all phases of projects from bidding to proposals to punch lists.

Requirements:

• Approximately 4-7 years of experience in mechanical contracting including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
• Experience with Scheduling, Submittals, RFI's, Close out Documentation, Quality Control Inspections, Buyouts.
• Strong computer skills with proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) applications.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus.
