Job description

HVAC Project Manager, up to £75k, West Midlands.

This is:

1. A role with genuine development plans to become Head of Projects.
2. An opportunity to work with an agile SME contractor, with scope to make positive change.

THE ROLE

1. Starting as a Project Manager, you'll be handling enquiry from order through to installation and handover.
2. This will include working with the design team at pre-start stage, developing a programme of works, liaising with mechanical and HVAC suppliers and manufacturers for equipment and appointment of sub-contractor teams.
3. Working closely with both end user and principal contractor through the project to include P&L, health & safety and to include site visits as necessary to successful commissioning and handover.
4. Developing into a senior role, working alongside an existing Contracts Manager.

THE PERSON
Essential:

1. Proven track record of delivering c£1m+ HVAC contracts as a Project Manager.
2. Technically strong in cooling & chilled water.
3. Have the desire and communication skills to develop and lead a projects team.

Desirable:

1. HNC or degree qualified engineer preferred but not essential.

THE PACKAGE
A basic salary between c£55k-75k, dependent on track record and level of achievement. Option of car or car allowance, company bonus, healthcare, plus 25 days holiday.

THE LOCATION
Based on the outskirts of Birmingham, offered as a hybrid role.
