Job summary

EDF Energy seeks a Project Engineer to join the Hinkley Point C site team, delivering planning, technical oversight and site supervision of HVAC and plant room works.

The role requires strong coordination with design engineers, contractors and suppliers, plus experience in nuclear settings and compliance with CE marking and industry standards. You will manage documentation, reports and handover packages, contributing to on-time delivery and safety.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services is required.
• Experience designing/assembling packaged plant rooms and HVAC systems.
• Awareness of CE marking and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate with design engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Review scope to align with client requirements.
• Attend meetings and provide technical input.
• Review HVAC designs and drawings.
• Monitor installation activities for quality and safety.
• Coordinate commissioning and testing.
• Prepare handover documents and reports.
