Job summary

Manchester City Football Club is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to keep campus facilities safe and reliable. You will maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning assets across sites, respond to breakdowns, and support minor upgrades and installation works as needed.

The role involves planned preventive maintenance and reactive tasks, working with other trades and managers to sustain high standards and operational continuity during fixtures and events in Manchester.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in a complex maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of AHUs, chilled water, water systems and air conditioning units.
• Experience with planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose faults and respond safely to breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance on HVAC assets.
• Inspect heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and fault-find.
• Assist with minor installation, upgrades and adaptations.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Managers and other trades to schedule life-cycle plans.
