Position: HVAC Maintenance / Service Engineer (Ventilation Bias)
Location: London (Mobile - Various Sites Across Greater London)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Van + Benefits
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm (with on-call rota participation required)
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established building services contractor, looking to add an experienced HVAC Engineer with a ventilation bias to their maintenance team. This is a mobile role covering a range of commercial and public sector sites across London. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and remedial works on ventilation and wider HVAC systems.
PPM and reactive maintenance of ventilation systems, AHUs, and associated HVAC equipment
Fire damper testing and remedial works to TR19 and BSEN 15780 standards
Fault diagnosis and repairs on systems including VRVs, splits, pumps, fans, and chilled water systems
Accurate completion of service records and reporting
Working flexibly to support emergency out-of-hours call-out rota
Managing van stock and liaising professionally with site contacts
Supervising apprentices when needed and mentoring junior team members
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heating & Ventilation or equivalent
Strong experience in ventilation systems and ductwork maintenance
Full UK driving licence
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work safely in confined spaces, at height, and in plant rooms
Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and working procedures
F-Gas (2079) or refrigeration qualifications
City & Guilds in Electrical Installation (2365/2357)
Experience in mechanical services (commercial gas, heating systems, etc.)
Confined Space and/or Enhanced DBS (can be arranged if not held)
Salary up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
