HVAC Lead Install Technician - Lead the Way at Hunts Services!

We're looking for a skilled and motivated HVAC Install Lead Technician to help us deliver flawless installs and develop our apprentices along the way.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the installation of HVAC systems and furnaces in residential homes, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Train and mentor Install Apprentices to become top-performing HVAC professionals.
  • Install ductwork, thermostats, and components with professionalism and precision.
  • Build trust and rapport with customers to create a 5-star experience that leads to referrals.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and customer service to ensure smooth job flow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site and keep your truck fully stocked.
  • Accurately complete all job-related paperwork, reports, and time tracking.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and retreats — we grow together.
  • Show up, gear up, and lead by example — your on-site presence matters.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of direct install experience with HVAC systems, tools (vacuum pumps, recovery machines, refrigerant gauges, etc.), codes, and installation techniques.
  • Proven ability to complete full system installs in one day/shift.
  • 3+ years experience in metal fabrication in the field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills — you lead with clarity and confidence.
  • Comfortable reading blueprints and understanding job specifications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and work in tight, physically demanding spaces and extreme weather conditions.

2+ years working with and developing apprentice technicians.
