Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Installation Engineer to install HVAC and refrigeration systems across customer sites in the UK. The role involves on-site installation, commissioning, and delivering projects to schedule, with occasional travel/working away.

Essentially you will bring proven HVAC installation experience, F-GAS Cat 1, and the ability to read technical diagrams, with a full UK driving license and IT skills on job platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in full HVAC installation (pipework, bracketry, cabling).
• F-GAS 2079 Cat 1 qualification.
• Experience with major manufacturers (Daikin, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric, Airedale).
• Knowledge of DX, Split VRF/VRV systems, AHUs & ventilation plant.
• Experience commissioning HVAC equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical documents (electrical schemes, piping diagrams).
• Full UK driving license.
• IT skills (recording details in LD-Control platform via iPad).
• Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the VRF Installation Team, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Adhere to company and legal requirements, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Prioritise Health & Safety compliance at all times.
• Install HVAC equipment and pipework according to defined processes and timelines.
• Support various projects, including working away when required.
