Job Summary:

Assists Lead Installer to install HVAC units for customers. Cleans jobsite and loads truck for jobs daily. Assists in staging and completing jobs as directed.

Schedule: M-F 7:30am-4:30pm (overtime as needed/available)
Starting Wage: $20.00-$23.00 p/h (depending on experience, qualifications)

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assists Lead Installer in all HVAC system installations; maintains efficiency and accuracy
  • Knows how to establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services
  • Assists in properly staging jobs and adheres to quality checklist
  • Shows professionalism and knowledge to win new referrals and repeat business
  • Works with customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business
  • Supports Lead Installer to maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck
  • Participates actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, trade shows, and retreats
  • Assists in completing accurate and timely paperwork
  • Regular, prompt, on-site attendance is essential for physically installing equipment
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Learn local HVAC codes and ability to make on-the-job applications
  • Continued education and training to obtain NATE certification
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years related experience required
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
  • Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, heavy lifting, and carrying
  • Work in tiring and uncomfortable positions, around gas lines, fumes, and toxic chemicals, indoors and outdoors
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at times
