Salary: Up to £42,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30
Are you ready to take your HVAC expertise to the next level in a dynamic and mission-critical environment? At VIVO, we're recruiting for a qualified HVAC Engineer to join our skilled engineering team delivering essential services across key MOD sites, including RAF Alconbury, Molesworth, and other locations, with travel to London required at least once per month.
About the role;This is an opportunity to make a real impact while enjoying the security of a long-term, stable career in a high-profile environment. You will be responsible for the effective, compliant, and timely delivery of both planned and reactive air conditioning maintenance tasks. This includes working on a range of installations such as DX splits, package chillers, commercial refrigeration units, and air handling systems.
Reporting to the Technical Service Manager, you'll be part of a collaborative team of over 10 multi-skilled engineers. You'll use a tablet to receive and manage your workload, giving you the autonomy to schedule tasks and carry out diagnostics and repairs independently. You will also be involved in emergency callouts when required, with optional overtime available.

What you'll need;To be considered for this role, you must hold one of the following qualifications:
- C&G Level 2 NVQ Diploma 6187-01 (unit 230/530) in Installing, Testing and Maintaining Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems
- C&G Level 2 NVQ Diploma 6187-02 (unit 230/530) in Installing and Maintaining Refrigeration Systems
- C&G Level 2 NVQ Diploma 7189-02 (unit 209/509) in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems
Experience in a commercial HVAC setting is essential, and prior work in MOD or construction/property maintenance environments is desirable. You must hold a full, clean UK driving licence. A company van will be provided for business use.
