Location: Midlands and North region, ideal locations include Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas.

Salary: up to £40,000 DOE + Van and Company Benefits

Working Hours: 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Role Overview:

Provide general electrical and mechanical maintenance support on refrigeration, air conditioning, heating equipment, and associated plant across various properties and data centres.

What you'll do:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on plant, equipment, and industrial service supplies including HVAC systems, chillers, split systems, building management systems, and AHU equipment.
  • Perform reactive repairs on site plant and equipment.
  • Ensure all duties are carried out safely, tidily, and responsibly, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Use spares and materials cost-effectively.
  • Complete site work order documentation to required standards.
  • Obey client and EMCOR site rules, maintaining high discipline standards.
  • Work as part of an on-call team rota if required.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably requested by site or client management.

Person Specification

  • Solid background in a similar role.
  • Trade Qualifications and NVQ/C&G Refrigeration Certification.
  • Electrical qualification or competence.
  • Data centre experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Refrigerant handling certification.
  • Knowledge of Permit to Work systems.
  • Relevant health and safety training or willingness to undertake it.
  • Ability to build effective relationships.
  • Knowledge of building management systems is a plus.
