HVAC Engineer

Location: Warrington

Type: Permanent

Salary: GBP40,000 – GBP48,000

Purpose of the Job

The HVAC Engineer plays a key role in providing design engineering services. The primary responsibility is the production of discipline-specific design and engineering deliverables to support projects.

Main Responsibilities

• Design development to meet technical specifications
• Production of design deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
• Review of basic design calculations
• Participation in design and safety reviews
• Preparation of technical specifications and installation, commissioning, and operational documents
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of design documentation
• Compliance with safety and statutory regulations
• Develop cost-effective technical solutions
• Conduct site surveys and produce assessment reports

Skills and Knowledge

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or demonstrable experience
• Associate membership of a discipline-specific engineering institution

Profile and Requirements

Essential

• Fundamental knowledge of the engineering discipline
• Experience in design within highly regulated industries
• Proven success in delivering design solutions
• Understanding of safety legislation and regulations
• Experience working within project environments
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Good commercial awareness
• Knowledge of containment ventilation systems, REVIT, AutoCAD, and IESVE software

Desirable

• Degree qualification in a relevant discipline
• Experience in the nuclear industry
• Management experience of design teams and subcontractors

• Full UK driving license
