Job summary

McM Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Engineer to join a Midlands-based M&E and Facilities Management contractor. This permanent role covers planned preventative maintenance and reactive service across a range of commercial sites, with long-term career development and a strong pipeline of work.

You will service split, VRV/VRF, chillers and AHUs, diagnose faults, and carry out installations or commissioning where required.

Qualifications

Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC and air conditioning systems.
Current F-Gas Certification is essential.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience with split systems, VRV/VRF, chillers and AHUs.
Experience with installation and commissioning of HVAC systems is advantageous.
C&G or NVQ in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration preferred.
Electrical qualifications are advantageous.
Experience using CAFM systems and electronic reporting tools.
Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on HVAC and air conditioning systems.
Service and maintain commercial split, VRV and VRF systems; diagnose faults and carry out repairs.
Maintain chillers, AHUs, ventilation systems and related plant; assist installation and commissioning.
Ensure compliance documentation aligns with F-Gas regulations and industry standards.
Maintain high health and safety standards across sites; participate in out-of-hours rota if required.

Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established M&E and Facilities Management contractor. This is a permanent opportunity working across a variety of commercial sites throughout the Midlands, delivering planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on HVAC and air conditioning systems. With a strong pipeline of secured work and long-standing client relationships, this role offers excellent job security, overtime opportunities, and long-term career development.

Roles and Responsibilities

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on HVAC and air conditioning systems
Servicing and maintaining commercial split, VRV, and VRF systems
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to HVAC and refrigeration equipment
Maintaining chillers, air handling units, ventilation systems, and associated plant
Completing installation, commissioning, and modification works where required
Ensuring all compliance documentation is completed in line with F-Gas regulations and industry standards
Maintaining high health and safety standards across all sites
Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required

Skills and Qualifications Required
