Job description

HVAC Engineer required in the North West area for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.

Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer Salary & Benefits

1. Basic Salary £35,000 - £42,000 DOE
2. Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
3. Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
4. Overtime paid at 1.5x
5. 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
6. On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door)
7. Pension
8. 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays; this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.
9. Company uniform, phone & PDA

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms.

HVAC Engineer Job Requirements

1. Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
2. Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
3. 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
4. Full Driving Licence
5. Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair
6. Live in the North West region
