Job description

We are looking for an HVAC Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an HVAC Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organization.

As the HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The HVAC Engineer will be responsible for:

• Undertaking mechanical works on a wide range of building services, including reactive and planned maintenance throughout the London Estate.
• Working on a shift basis to ensure 24-hour coverage for the London Estate.
• Supporting shift teams with mechanical expertise across the sites.
• Maintaining high standards of planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Using diagnostic equipment and working from technical manuals and drawings.
• Identifying visual plant defects, warning lights, and indicators.
• Having a comprehensive understanding of building services and proficiency in maintenance of power, distribution, and switching; motor controls; lighting systems; standby generators; electrical test procedures and certification; control systems; inverter operation and design; fire alarm/PA systems.

To be successful in this HVAC Engineer role, you must have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning/Maintenance – Essential.
• F Gas Qualification – Essential.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Apprenticeship – Essential.
• 18th Edition – Essential.
• 2391–52 Testing and Inspection Qualification – Essential.
• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing – Essential.
• NVQ Level 3 in Heating/Ventilation/Maintenance.
• COCN1 or CODNCO1 (domestic to commercial changeover) – Essential.
• CORT1, TPCP1A, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1 – Desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
