Our client, a well-established company with over 20 years of experience in designing, installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing all major mechanical and HVAC commercial equipment, is looking to expand its team. Operating across Liverpool, Manchester, and the surrounding areas, they seek an experienced HVAC Engineer to join their dedicated team.

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, planned maintenance, fault finding, and repairing various air conditioning systems, including split/multi-split systems, VRV, and VRF units. The HVAC Engineer will oversee complex repairs and fault diagnostics.

The work is primarily within the North West, covering offices, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, factories, and schools.

HVAC Engineer Job Overview

The duties include servicing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems such as split units, VRV, VRF, and some chillers. The focus will be on complex repairs and diagnostics.

Approximately 90% of the work is within Liverpool/Manchester and surrounding areas, with occasional site visits outside the patch by a team of 13 engineers.

Job Requirements

• Hold an F-Gas certification
• Valid UK driving license
• Beneficial: NVQ/City and Guilds in Air Conditioning
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience
• Desirable: Knowledge of heat pumps, chillers, FCUs, and AHUs
• Experience in service, PPM, fault finding, and repair of air conditioning systems
• Live within the North West of England

Salary & Benefits

• £40-42k per annum, depending on experience
• 40-hour workweek
• Door-to-door travel pay at standard rate
