Job summary

White-Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Service Engineer to support its growing London service operation. You will cover Central London and surrounding areas, working across split systems, VRV/VRF, chillers, AHUs, ventilation and chilled water systems in critical environments.

Full railway training and competencies will be provided, with opportunities to develop within a specialist HVAC contractor. The role includes on‑call work and career progression in a long‑term engineering track.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent.
• Valid F-Gas Category 1.
• Experience working on split systems, VRV/VRF, chillers, AHUs, ventilation and chilled water systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to work across London and participate in the on-call rota.
• PASMA and IPAF certifications advantageous.
• Able to pass rail medical, drug & alcohol screening and DVLA licence check prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile service support across Central London and surrounding areas.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance, reactive breakdowns and fault finding.
• Work across split systems, VRV/VRF, chillers, AHUs, ventilation and chilled water systems.
• Operate within technically diverse environments including railway infrastructure and data centres.

An established HVAC contractor is looking to recruit a Mobile Service Engineer to support its growing London service operation. Covering Central London and the surrounding areas, you'll work across a technically diverse portfolio including railway infrastructure, stations, depots, data centres and other critical environments.

The role is focused on planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns and fault finding across split systems, VRV/VRF, chillers, AHUs, ventilation and chilled water systems, with additional exposure to LTHW and associated mechanical plant. Full railway training and competencies will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to develop within a specialist engineering environment.

Requirements

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent.
