Job summary

Project Start Recruitment Solutions is seeking a professional Mobile HVAC Engineer to cover the Southwest region, including Bristol. You will attend planned and reactive maintenance across client sites, ensuring compliance with specifications and PPM schedules while managing paperwork and quotes.

The role requires a City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in heating, ventilation and plumbing, plus hands-on maintenance experience, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds qualification in pipe fitting and general plumbing in commercial systems.
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Heating and Ventilating Systems or Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• Relevant experience including preventive and reactive maintenance; experience with similar equipment in commercial buildings.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Valid UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Working independently as well as a team to undertake planned and reactive maintenance services on our client’s premises, ensuring compliance with specifications, PPM schedules and procedures. Complete paperwork records and provide quotations for outstanding actions.
• Respond to call-out requests to ensure clients' systems are not prejudiced and maintain continuity of operation. Report, quote and act upon failures and faults.
• Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety protocols.
• Provide prompt and effective response to emergency situations, diagnose faults and initiate actions to prevent deterioration of environmental conditions.
• Operate the contract proactively to minimise difficulties with building environmental systems.
• Liaise with specialist subcontractors and engineers from other disciplines to ensure efficient operation without disruption.

Location - Covering Southwest Region (Bristol)

We are currently seeking a professional Mobile HVAC Engineer. You will attend planned and reactive jobs across a variety of client sites across the region.

As the HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Skills & Experience Required:

Candidates must have either:

• A) City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in pipe fitting and general plumbing in commercial systems.
• B) Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Heating and Ventilating Systems or Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• AND
• C) Relevant experience including:

• Preventive and reactive maintenance work
• Experience with similar equipment in commercial buildings
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience
• Ability to organise work and perform under pressure
• Valid UK Driving Licence
