HVAC Engineer

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Location: RAF Croughton/ RAF Barford St Johns Croughton
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM with on call 1 week in 4 minimum

About this role:

As an HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems at RAF Croughton and surrounding areas. Your role will be vital in ensuring mission-critical assets remain fully operational. You will work both independently and as part of an engineering team, completing tasks on time and delivering an exceptional level of service to our military clients.

This position includes planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and minor installations while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards such as RAMS, COSHH, and RIDDOR. You will be expected to manage your schedule efficiently, complete all relevant documentation, and respond to emergency callouts as part of an on-call rota.

What you'll need;

To be successful in this role, you will need a City & Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning (or equivalent), F-Gas 1 certification, and safe handling of refrigerants. Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and repair is essential, as is a strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations. You must hold a full UK driving licence and be eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance. While not essential, experience in a commercial or MOD environment, along with additional qualifications in First Aid and Health & Safety, would be highly desirable.
