HVAC Engineer Position - Kent

Our client, a leading HVAC company with over 20 years of experience and six regional offices, is seeking an HVAC Engineer in the Kent area. They provide comprehensive solutions including installation, service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of various HVAC equipment.

Their clientele includes long-standing relationships with companies such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, and Malmaison.

Position Details and Benefits

• Basic Salary up to £42,000
• Company Van (optional for personal use)
• Profit sharing scheme after 12 months, up to £3,600 tax-free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 40-hour work week, travel paid after 30 minutes each way
• On-call allowance (£1,200 guaranteed, travel paid door-to-door when called out)
• Pension scheme
• Holiday entitlement: 22 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years
• Company uniform, phone, and PDA provided

Candidate Requirements

The ideal HVAC Engineer must have proven experience in servicing, fault finding, and repairing air conditioning systems, specifically VRV/VRF, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs, and Cold Rooms.

• Air conditioning apprenticeship (not essential)
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas) certification
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of HVAC systems
• Resident in the Kent region
