Job summary

Dalkia UK is recruiting a Senior HVAC Craftsperson for the on-site team at British Steel, Scunthorpe. This hands-on role involves maintenance, minor installations, and fault diagnosis in a heavy industrial setting. You’ll work initially with guidance from an experienced engineer, then operate autonomously using a company vehicle.

Applicants must have HVAC maintenance experience, the ability to work independently, and a valid CCSNG Safety Passport. Flexibility for on-call duties is required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out HVAC maintenance and minor installation works across the site.
• Diagnosing faults and ensuring systems run efficiently and safely.
• Working independently once onboarded.
• Using a company vehicle to travel across site and manage tasks.
• Participating in an on-call rota (approx. 1 in 3-4 weeks).
• Responding to out-of-hours call-outs when required.
• Adhering to site safety standards in an industrial environment.

British Steel, Scunthorpe (On-site)

We're recruiting for a Senior HVAC Craftsperson to join the on-site team at British Steel, Scunthorpe. This is a hands-on role within a heavy industrial environment, offering long-term stability, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to work both collaboratively and independently. You'll initially be supported by an experienced engineer to get up to speed with site operations before moving into an autonomous role, working from a company vehicle and contributing to an on-call rota.
