Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Bedford is seeking an AC Engineer to maintain electrical and mechanical systems on site, including Trane units and AC split systems. You will identify risks, improve the preventative maintenance program and ensure a comfortable environment for the client. The role is Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm with on‑call duties.

Qualifications

• F-Gas City & Guilds Qualification.
• Strong experience in HVAC Maintenance.
• Recognized or Time Served Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks on site and improve preventative maintenance.
• Use new equipment to maintain a comfortable environment and liaise with the client.
• Fault finding on HVAC, with bias to VRV systems, handling refrigerants per F-Gas requirements.
• Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance team.
• Liaise with Supervisor and Account Manager on Building Services issues.
