Job Description

Responsible for the design, configuration, and operation of complete heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration building control systems to meet project requirements. May work directly with customers to develop new or replacement HVAC control systems, troubleshoot problems, advise on repairs, or train customers on how to use their HVAC system controls.

Essential Job Functions include (but are not limited to):

  1. Design and configure building control systems as defined by the contract document. Create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of materials, network layouts, and electrical schematics as required.
  2. Develop and test software programs necessary to operate the system per the project/job requirements.
  3. Coordinate and create necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installations.
  4. Assist in performing site-specific training for clients or customers on control system(s).
  5. Perform value engineering to provide cost-effective results while maintaining customer/client satisfaction.

Qualifications include (but are not limited to):

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Experience with BACnet systems
  • 3-5 years of related work experience in a commercial property setting
  • Current valid PA driver's license
