At EDF, we're offering more than just a job — we're offering a career that will deliver real change.
Right now, we're looking for an HVAC Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project, one of the most complex and ambitious infrastructure projects in Europe. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering the nuclear island and laying the foundations for Sizewell C replication.
EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) is a subsidiary of Edvance, a joint venture between EDF and Framatome, established in 2018. It is responsible for the design and realization of nuclear islands for new projects in France and worldwide.
EDF EPR Engineering UK handles the design and construction of the nuclear island for the HPC project and prepares design replication and engineering activities for the Sizewell C (SZC) project.
At HPC, we are building two new nuclear reactors, providing low-carbon electricity for around six million homes. For SZC, work on replication strategy and early design studies are underway, managed from both France and the UK.
In this role, you'll work at the heart of the HPC commissioning team, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of HVAC commissioning documentation and processes. You'll interface with various stakeholders, including design and construction teams and senior commissioning leaders, translating complex plans into operational reality.
At EDF UK, we embrace flexibility and recognize individual working needs, supporting collaboration whether you're in the office, on-site, or remote. We foster an inclusive environment that supports diversity, equity, and social mobility, and are a disability confident employer committed to reasonable adjustments.
You should be a passionate engineer committed to excellence, with experience in nuclear or complex infrastructure industries such as large infrastructure, rail, or oil & gas. You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on, solution-oriented, and detail-focused approach.
Success is personal. It's your journey, powered by us. Join us, and we'll help Britain achieve Net Zero, together.
