Job summary

Future Select is seeking a HVAC Commissioning Engineer to join their team in Croydon. You will commission and balance water and air systems across a range of sites, using CIBSE guidelines and CSA grades where applicable.

The role involves on-site work at commercial, public sector and industrial locations, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and client communication. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on commissioning experience, strong IT skills, and the ability to read schematics and reports.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience commissioning HVAC systems across diverse sites.
• CSA grades (where applicable) preferred.
• Fully conversant with CIBSE guidelines and standards.
• Experience on commercial, public sector and industrial sites.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills for reports and data.
• Proficient with IT tools and software used on site.

Responsibilities

• Commission water and air system installations across varied premises.
• Primary and secondary balancing on CHW, AHU and LTHW systems.
• Measure balance flow rates and record results.
• Interpret schematic drawings and blueprints to install and adjust equipment.
• Maintain tools and equipment and report on wear or faults.
• Provide technical feedback and project updates to clients.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and produce regular technical reports.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure service quality.
