Job summary

Engineering Excellence is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform routine tune-ups and diagnostic checks on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will travel to customer sites, carry parts, and complete detailed service records while delivering high-quality service.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of HVAC experience, a high school diploma or GED, EPA/safety certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with HVAC training preferred.
EPA and safety certifications required.
Valid driver’s license.
Basic knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and safety practices.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance calls and HVAC tune-ups.
Inspect equipment and diagnose issues to prevent breakdowns.
Deliver and retrieve parts and tools for service work.
Record service details accurately on handheld device and complete paperwork.
Communicate with dispatch to provide status updates and availability.
Promote products and services during customer visits and capture replacement leads.
Ensure company assets and tools are properly used and accounted for.
Maintain safe work practices and comply with PPE requirements.
Represent the company professionally and ethically in all interactions.
Assist Service Technicians with HVAC servicing as needed.
