Job summary

Solution Search Limited - Civils & Rail is seeking a temporary HV Construction Manager / Project Manager with High Voltage Systems experience to support a major tunnelling scheme in North Wales. The role is site-based, full-time, five days a week, with a top day rate outside IR35.

You will lead HV site activities, coordinate multiple stakeholders, ensure safe delivery, and bring expertise in HV systems, with National Grid competence preferred, CSCS and SMSTS a must.

Qualifications

• Strong HV construction and project delivery experience.
• Electrical or Mechanical degree or relevant technical qualification.
• Experience managing HV systems and associated site activities.
• National Grid Competent Person qualification (preferred).
• TP163 Site Manager experience (preferred).
• Valid CSCS Card and SMSTS certification.
• Ability to lead site activities safely and effectively whilst coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working within major infrastructure, utilities, energy, or National Grid environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage HV construction and project delivery on a major tunnelling scheme in North Wales.
• Coordinate site activities and multiple stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time completion.
• Lead HV system installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
