Job summary

NG Bailey Group is seeking a Transmission Maintenance Fitter to work in the Services team on HV environments and to focus on HV switchgear and transformer maintenance. The role travels across the UK, primarily at power stations, with substantial away-from-home time from Monday to Friday.

A HNC in Electrical Engineering is preferred, with experience in transmission and distribution advantageous. Applicants should have strong safety knowledge, be able to follow method statements and risk

Qualifications

• Strong communications skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
• Be able to work as part of a team and adapt to diverse activities.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and asset management duties for Switchgear and Power Transformers across the UK.
• Service Engineer role with UK-wide travel; not based at a fixed location.
• Predominantly maintenance work on HV Switchgear and Transformers; 415V to 400kV.
• Stays away from home Monday to Friday with advance notice on recruitment process.
