Job summary

Confidential seeks an Engineering Manager to lead HV transmission and substation design across the full project lifecycle from tender through to delivery. The role requires managing cross-functional teams, external consultants and OEMs, ensuring design compliance, programme performance and constructability.

Based in North West London with travel to project sites. The ideal candidate has UK HV experience, strong CDM 2015 knowledge and a track record of delivering complex transmission schemes,

Qualifications

• Significant experience in UK HV transmission and/or substation projects.
• Experience with 132kV, 275kV and/or 400kV schemes.
• Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary design packages.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and design delivery from tender to detail design and delivery.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, external consultants and OEMs while ensuring safety and quality.
• Coordinate with construction, procurement, and project management to meet programmes.
