CBRE Local UK is seeking an HV Protection Engineer to support testing, commissioning and validation of electrical power systems and protection equipment. The role ensures new and refurbished plant operates safely and meets manufacturer specifications, procedures and operational requirements.

You will work within a mobile four‑person team in London, performing inspections and non‑intrusive works across a diverse portfolio of buildings.

Formación

• GCSE English and A Levels in Maths/Science required or equivalent
• HV protection testing training or demonstrable three-year industry experience
• Experience with protection, control, and telemetry systems

Responsabilidades

• Test power plant and protection systems across generation, transmission, and distribution environments
• Carry out component and full system energisation commissioning
• Verify compliance with safety, performance, and operational standards
• Diagnose faults, perform fault analysis and implement corrective actions
• Produce commissioning reports and technical documentation
• Ensure activities are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to quality standards
• Provide guidance to colleagues and stakeholders
• Plan, prioritise and schedule commissioning activities
