Job Purpose: Are you passionate about shaping the future of the energy sector and eager to play a key role in HV Operations? They are seeking a HV Operations Manager / Director to develop and enhance their HV Operations market presence. This role offers an opportunity to become a recognized leader in a critical, busy, and competitive market.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop business opportunities with existing clients and review pipeline plans.
2. Lead initial project discussions with clients on design and delivery aspects.
3. Collaborate with the Business Development team to develop new client relationships.
4. Serve as an escalation point for clients, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Negotiate variations with clients, managing EOTs and escalations collaboratively.
6. Keep clients informed during tender and validation stages to prevent surprises regarding costs, schedules, or lead times.
7. Work closely with clients at LOI/LNTP stages to meet future project timelines and manage expectations.
8. Lead a team of project managers, commercial managers, and lead engineers.
9. Monitor project performance through regular reports from team members.
10. Authorize changes to project programs and resources.
11. Participate in major project meetings with clients and internal reviews.
12. Ensure efficient collaboration with supporting departments like safety, procurement, quality, and planning.
13. Report project performance to the Managing Director.
14. Manage project risks and escalate site issues appropriately.
15. Ensure project commercial processes are followed and contracts are thoroughly reviewed before signing.
16. Assist in resource planning and team assembly for projects.
17. Hold overall accountability for project success alongside the Project Manager.

Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:

• Degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent operational/technical expertise.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in HV operations.
• Knowledge of HV inspection, monitoring practices, technologies, and client needs.
• Proven leadership and innovation in HV operations.
• Strong relationship-building skills with industry peers and clients.
• Proactive, curious, and courageous in exploring opportunities and delivering solutions.
• Experience in EHV/HV/LV installation, termination, and testing up to 235KV.
